When you use BIOS, we collect the following information:
- Account information: Your email address, used for authentication and sending magic links.
- Health data: Fasting records, food logs (food items, calories), and weight data — all actively entered by you.
- Interaction records: Text, voice-to-text content, and image descriptions you send to BIOS, used to generate insights and recognize entries.
- Usage data: Credits balance, consumption history, and subscription status.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide core services: fasting tracking, food logging, and personalized companionship.
- Generate personalized insights: your inputs are sent to third-party AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI via Cloudflare AI Gateway) for processing.
- Send login links and service notifications (via Resend).
- Process subscriptions and payments (via Creem).
We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising purposes.
Third-Party Services
BIOS relies on the following third-party infrastructure:
- Cloudflare: Website hosting and content delivery.
- Cloudflare D1: Encrypted storage of your account data and health records.
- Resend: Sending login emails.
- Google Gemini / OpenAI (via Cloudflare AI Gateway): AI analysis and content generation. Inputs are not used for AI training (per our service agreements).
- Creem: Subscription payment processing. We do not store your credit card information.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Cloudflare's global edge network (D1 database). We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
Your Rights
- Access: You can view your data on the account page.
- Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data in account settings. This action is irreversible.
- Data export: Contact us if you need a data export.
Minors
BIOS is not directed to individuals under 16. If you believe a minor is using the service, please contact us.
